Apple Deployment

Following procurement, EduCom IT ensures a seamless deployment process tailored to the operational and logistical needs of each institution. Devices are prepared off-site or on-site, according to preference, with pre-deployment services or localising, which include asset tagging, applying protective cases, recording serial numbers, affixing school-specific labelling, and completing any pre-enrolment documentation. This process ensures that every device is uniquely identified, easily tracked, and fully aligned with the organisations asset management and auditing requirements.

As part of Apple’s Device Enrolment Program via Apple School Manager (ASM) or Apple Business Manager (ABM), all eligible devices are enrolled at the point of provisioning, ensuring they are automatically configured to connect with the organisation’s chosen MDM environment upon activation. This zero-touch enrolment streamlines the initial setup process for end users, reducing the burden on internal IT teams and ensuring that each device is securely linked to the organisation from the outset.

Our deployment services are designed to support scale and efficiency, whether fulfilling a bulk rollout across multiple campuses or distributing individually assigned devices to staff and students. We work closely with IT administrators to align deployment schedules with academic calendars or operational priorities, and provide documentation, device registers, and support materials where required. The result is a deployment experience that is both structured and adaptable, enabling organisations to begin using their Apple technology immediately, with confidence and control from the first power-on.
