Why businesses choose Business Launch

It works at first. Until it doesn't.

Most businesses start with a personal email address, files saved on individual devices, inconsistent processes and very little structure around security. And honestly, it works — for a while.

Until an important email is missed. Until a customer questions why their quote came from a Gmail address. Until files are saved on one computer and nobody else can get to them. Until the business starts to grow and the technology underneath it hasn't grown with it.

Business Launch fixes that quickly and affordably — not by creating an email account, but by establishing a professional, secure and scalable starting point.

You'll recognise the moment
  • Personal email no longer looks professional to customers
  • Important information is scattered across multiple devices
  • There's no central place for business files
  • Security risk is climbing as more work happens online
  • New staff need access to shared systems, files and email
  • The tools you use don't talk to each other
What's included

Everything in the $199 setup.

01

Microsoft 365 tenant setup

We build your Microsoft 365 environment from scratch on Microsoft 365 Business Basic (No Teams) for up to five users — tenant, user accounts, core admin configuration, licence allocation and sensible business-ready defaults. You get the productivity apps in the browser plus the cloud services underneath them, which is a far stronger starting point than an email account on its own.

Business outcome

A properly configured platform instead of a mailbox bolted onto a domain.

02

Your own domain and professional email

Every business should present professionally, and that starts with the address on your quotes. We connect your business domain — or help you buy one through our domain service — then create professional email addresses for up to five users, add shared mailboxes like info@, accounts@ or quotes@, set Outlook up on mobile and apply standardised email signatures across the team.

In practice

Instead of quotes landing in a customer's inbox from a personal Gmail address, they arrive from accounts@yourbusiness.com.au with a consistent signature — the same business, but a very different first impression.

Business outcome

More credibility, more customer trust, consistent branding on every email that leaves.

03

Cloud file storage foundations

No small business should depend on one laptop, one desktop or one staff member to hold everything important. We set up OneDrive for every user and make files reachable from desktop and mobile through the cloud apps, so business information stops living in a single location.

In practice

You can pull up a quote, an invoice or a customer document from the office, from home or from a job site — without emailing files to yourself or driving back for the one computer that has them.

Business outcome

Files accessible anywhere, less risk of data loss, better visibility over your own business.

04

Security and protection

Cyber security isn't just for large organisations — small businesses get targeted precisely because they usually have fewer protections in place. Every Business Launch setup includes multi-factor authentication for all users, Microsoft security defaults, a baseline user security configuration and Microsoft-recommended setup practices.

Business outcome

Meaningfully lower risk of account compromise and phishing, from the very first day rather than after an incident.

05

Mobile and device setup

Work happens wherever you happen to be. We help get Outlook and OneDrive set up on the phones and devices your team actually uses, so email and files are available on the road without anyone having to work it out themselves.

Business outcome

Your business works from anywhere, connected properly from the start.

Who it's for

Built for businesses getting started properly.

Business Launch is designed for businesses that want to get set up correctly without overcomplicating the process or over-investing too early. If you're moving off Gmail, Bigpond, Hotmail or a basic POP/IMAP service like cPanel mail, this is the package built for you.

Ideal for
  • Sole traders
  • New businesses
  • Contractors
  • Family-run businesses
  • Teams of up to five
  • Anyone still running the business from Gmail, Bigpond, Hotmail or cPanel email
How onboarding works

Clear, fast, low-friction.

1

Discovery conversation

We learn about your business, your domain and how many people need accounts.

2

Confirm the detail

Licences, users, devices and anything existing we need to work around.

3

Configure & connect

We build your Microsoft 365 environment and connect your domain.

4

Set up your people

User accounts, email, desktop and mobile access — set up and tested.

5

Handover & training

A simple guide and a walkthrough so your team can start using it with confidence.

Pricing

$199 once, then $106.92 per user for the year.

On Essential that works out to $8.91 per user per month, but it's charged as one annual payment rather than monthly — so a three-person business pays $199 setup plus $320.76 for the year's licences, up front. If you'd rather not pay a year ahead, Flex bills monthly at $10.69 per user ($32.07 a month for three people) with nothing locked in. All pricing inc GST.

Your setup includes

  • Microsoft 365 tenant setup for up to five users
  • Your own domain connected (or help buying one)
  • Professional email addresses plus shared mailboxes like info@ and accounts@
  • OneDrive cloud file storage for every user
  • Outlook and OneDrive set up on mobile devices
  • Multi-factor authentication and a baseline security configuration
  • Standardised email signatures
  • Handover and training so your team can actually use it

Optional add-ons

Start small and extend the environment as your needs change.

Not included in the fixed price: email migrations, data recovery, device repairs, network installations, custom SharePoint development, advanced cyber security consulting, compliance assessments and Microsoft Teams Phone. All available — quoted separately.

FAQ

Business Launch — your questions answered.

What is Business Launch?

Business Launch is a fixed-price Microsoft 365 setup package for sole traders and small businesses with up to five staff. It gives you a professional Microsoft 365 tenant, business email on your own domain, OneDrive cloud file storage and a baseline security configuration including multi-factor authentication — for a one-off setup fee of $199 inc GST plus the ongoing per-user licence.

What does Business Launch cost?

$199 inc GST as a one-off setup fee. After that you pay the Microsoft licence per user, and you choose how. Essential is a twelve-month term paid up front: $106.92 per user for the year, which works out to $8.91 per user per month. Flex is billed monthly at $10.69 per user with nothing locked in. So a two-person business is $199 setup plus either $213.84 up front for the year, or $21.38 each month.

Which Microsoft 365 licence does it include?

Microsoft 365 Business Basic (No Teams). That covers business email through Exchange Online, OneDrive cloud storage and the Office apps in your browser. If you need the desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, or you want Microsoft Teams, Business Momentum is the package you're after.

Can I move my existing email across?

Yes, but email migration is quoted separately rather than being part of the fixed setup price. How much work it takes depends entirely on where your mail lives now and how much history needs to come with it. Tell us what you're on today and we'll give you a straight answer.

I don't have a domain name yet. Is that a problem?

Not at all. We'll help you find and register one through our domain service, then connect it to your new Microsoft 365 environment as part of the setup.

What if I have more than five users?

The package is scoped for up to five. If you have more, we simply add the extra users as an add-on so you're not paying twice for setup work that's already been done. Let us know your headcount and we'll quote it up front.

How long does setup take?

For a straightforward business, days rather than weeks. This is designed as an accelerator service: discovery conversation, confirm the details, configure the environment, set up your people, hand over with training.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes, and it's a natural step rather than a rebuild. Business Momentum adds desktop Office apps, Microsoft Teams and a SharePoint intranet on top of what you already have. Business Advantage adds Microsoft 365 Copilot and Keeper password management on top of that.

Ready to get your business connected?

Every engagement starts with a short discovery conversation so we can confirm your domain, your users and what needs to be set up. Two minutes in the package builder gets it started.
