For businesses whose team now needs to work together properly. Business Momentum builds on the Microsoft 365 foundation and adds the full desktop Office apps, Microsoft Teams and a SharePoint intranet — so everyone works from one shared set of files instead of emailing versions around.
Getting the foundation right is a strong first step. But as a business grows, teams need to work together in real time, share files confidently and use the same tools across multiple devices.
Without a more complete environment, staff end up emailing documents back and forth, saving different versions on different computers and reaching for ad-hoc tools that nobody manages or secures. Collaboration slows, visibility drops, and small technology gaps start showing up in the customer experience.
Momentum is the step from "set up" to "working together" — without turning it into a large IT project.
We configure Microsoft 365 Business Standard for up to five users — either as a fresh build or as an upgrade to an existing Business Basic environment. That covers licences, user accounts and licence allocation, core admin and security configuration aligned to small business best practice, and the policies that make desktop apps and collaboration features work properly.
A complete productivity platform rather than email and browser-based tools alone.
Collaboration only works if people have the right apps installed and configured on the devices they use every day. We install the Office desktop apps — Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook — on supported PCs, Macs and mobile devices, sign users in with their Microsoft 365 accounts, configure Outlook desktop for business email and shared mailboxes, and connect the apps to OneDrive and SharePoint so saving a file just works.
A staff member opens a proposal in Word straight from the SharePoint site, co-authors it with a colleague in real time, and saves back to the shared library — no emailed attachments, no v3-FINAL-final.docx.
A consistent app experience, less time lost to setup problems, and a genuinely collaborative way of working across devices.
Teams becomes the place where conversations, files and meetings come together instead of being scattered across inboxes. We build a core Teams structure aligned to your business — Operations, Sales, Admin or whatever fits — with channels for different work areas or projects, sensible Teams policies for small business use, and SharePoint document libraries integrated into the relevant channels.
Instead of separate email threads and duplicate file copies, a project has its own Team with channels for General, Quotes and Delivery — conversations, files and meeting notes all in one place.
Better visibility, fewer lost conversations, and clear context for work in progress.
Small businesses need a simple but structured place for the documents everyone uses. We set up a central SharePoint site that acts as your intranet and shared document hub, with key libraries such as Company Documents, Templates and Policies, permissions appropriate to your team size and roles, and the site connected into Teams and the desktop apps.
Instead of every staff member keeping their own copy of the price list, the current version lives in SharePoint, is linked from Teams, and opens in Word on any managed device.
One central source of truth, better control over access, and far less risk of someone quoting from an outdated document.
To stop the confusion between personal and shared storage, we make sure each user's OneDrive is set up correctly, clarify what belongs in OneDrive (personal work files) versus SharePoint (team files), and connect both to File Explorer and Finder so people can work the way they're used to.
Clearer file ownership, less duplication, and files reachable from anywhere.
As collaboration tools grow, security has to keep pace. Business Momentum maintains and extends the baseline established in Business Launch: multi-factor authentication for all users, security defaults suited to Business Standard, access controls around SharePoint and Teams, and Microsoft-recommended practices for small business collaboration environments.
Lower risk of account compromise and more controlled access to shared business information.
Business Momentum suits businesses that want structured collaboration and shared files without over-engineering the environment. Whether you're starting fresh or stepping up from Business Launch, the result is a connected, team-centric Microsoft 365 environment that still feels manageable day to day.

On Essential that works out to $23.10 per user per month, but it's charged as one annual payment rather than monthly — so a five-person team pays $299 setup plus $1,386 for the year's licences, up front. If you'd rather not pay a year ahead, Flex bills monthly at $27.72 per user ($138.60 a month for five people) with nothing locked in. Either way it's the same full collaboration platform with desktop Office, Teams and SharePoint for every person. All pricing inc GST.
Expand as your needs evolve, without replacing the core work.
Not included in the fixed price: email migrations, data recovery, device repairs, network installations, custom SharePoint development, advanced cyber security consulting, compliance assessments and Microsoft Teams Phone.
Business Momentum is a fixed-price Microsoft 365 setup package for small teams that have outgrown basic email and file storage. It includes Microsoft 365 Business Standard for up to five users, deployment of the desktop Office apps, a Microsoft Teams structure built around your business, and a SharePoint intranet with shared document libraries — for a one-off setup fee of $299 inc GST plus the ongoing per-user licence.
$299 inc GST as a one-off setup fee. After that you pay the Microsoft licence per user, and you choose how. Essential is a twelve-month term paid up front: $277.20 per user for the year, which works out to $23.10 per user per month. Flex is billed monthly at $27.72 per user with nothing locked in. So a five-person business is $299 setup plus either $1,386 up front for the year, or $138.60 each month.
Business Launch gets you professional email, OneDrive and security on Microsoft 365 Business Basic. Business Momentum upgrades the licence to Business Standard and adds the three things teams need to work together: the full desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Microsoft Teams for chat and meetings, and a SharePoint intranet as one shared home for company files.
No. Momentum builds on what's already there. We upgrade the licences, deploy the desktop apps, and add the Teams and SharePoint layer on top of your existing users, email and domain. Nothing gets rebuilt from scratch.
We build it. Anyone can enable Teams — the value is in a structure that matches how your business works. We set up the core Teams, the channels for each work area, sensible policies, and we connect the SharePoint document libraries into the right channels so files and conversations sit together.
The supported PCs, Macs and mobile devices your team agrees on during onboarding. We install the apps, sign users in and connect them to OneDrive and SharePoint so file saving works properly from day one.
File and email migration from legacy systems is quoted separately, because the effort depends entirely on how much data there is and where it currently lives. We do it regularly — tell us what you're working with and we'll scope it.
Additional users beyond the initial five are a straightforward add-on. You're not paying a second setup fee for work that's already been done.
